This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or trackers, and loads nothing from other companies' servers. Fonts and images are served from this site itself.

Visiting the site

To deliver a page, the web server necessarily processes your IP address and the request itself (page, time, browser type). This is needed to show you the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The server does not keep access logs and nothing is used to identify or profile you. The site is hosted by OVH GmbH, Germany, on servers in Germany.

Things stored in your browser

If you have an essay read aloud, your chosen reading speed and voice are saved in your browser's local storage so they are there next time. They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Email and consultation requests

The consultation form doesn't send anything by itself: it opens your own email app with a message written for you. If you send it, I receive your email address and what you wrote, and use them only to answer you and arrange the work you asked about (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). I delete the correspondence when it's no longer needed, unless the law requires me to keep it.

Links to other sites

Links to Medium, GitHub, LinkedIn, X, a booking calendar (such as Cal.com) and others take you to those services; nothing from them is embedded here. Once you follow a link, the other site's privacy policy applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to me at the address above. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in Bavaria the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht.
